What is your rental season?
Our 2025 season runs from May 9 to October 13. Rentals are 7 days, from Saturday to Saturday.
What are your rates?
Our 2025 rates are as follows: Main House - $3500/week, Captain's Cottage - $2700/week, Mate's Cottage - $2500/week, plus applicable hotel/sales tax and fees. Fees include a $100 cleaning fee per rental and a $200 refundable security deposit required. 50% of the rental fee is due at time of booking, with the remaining balance due three weeks prior to your arrival.
The total number of occupants for your rental is restricted to the terms as outlined within your rental agreement. Additional guests are allowed.
What is your cancellation policy?
A $ 100 fee will be incurred if we can rebook the date(s). If we cannot, payments will not be returned.
Do you have parking?
Yes, each rental includes one parking space. If you are planning to bring a car, we advise that you contact Interstate Navigation to make car reservations as soon as possible, as the ferries fill-up quickly.
What is included with the rentals?
Each rental includes a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, as well as pillows, duvets and blankets for the beds and pullouts. Each also has a Smart TV with YouTubeTV and Wi-Fi. We have an outside shower, pay washer and dryer ($5 per load), gas grill, beach chairs and umbrellas for your use, and a bike rack on property. We do not supply linens or towels, but can connect you with a linen rental service.
Do you allow pets?
Unfortunately no, House rules include: no pets, no smoking indoors and no additional guests without prior approval. We also ask that noise be kept to a minimum after 9pm for the convenience of all of our guests.
What time is check-in and check-out?
Rentals are from Saturday to Saturday. Check-in time is 2pm. Check-out time is 10am. Please call if you arrive to the island earlier, as we may be able to accommodate an early check-in.
What form of payments do you accept?
We accept checks or money orders.
What if I need something while I am staying at The Harbourview?
We also live on islandduring the summer, so please don't hesitate to ask if you need anything during your stay. We love the island and would be happy to answer any questions you may have (best restaurants, need lobster pots or places to go clamming?). We live on island and our number is 401-347-3646.
